The Old Lighthouse Museum                           The Capt Nathaniel Palmer House

The Old Lighthouse Museum and the Capt. Nathaniel B. Palmer House afford a range of options to suit most every special event. The gardens at the both the Lighthouse and the Palmer House make a perfect backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and receptions in the warmer months. At the Lighthouse, the grounds run right down to the sea. Larger, tented events are often held here. At the Palmer House, the walled garden behind the house provides an intimate atmosphere.

The National Historic Landmark Capt. Palmer House also provides elegant interior space for smaller functions throughout the year.

Fees

A new family membership is required in the rental agreement. Because of liability issues, self-catering is not allowed. Caterers must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 general liability insurance and $1,000,000 of liquor liability insurance per occurance. Please note that dates are not reserved until a contract is signed and a deposit received. For qualified non-profits organizations, usage fees may be reduced. Please enquire.
